Finally an e-bike that feels good everywhere
I've used it on pavement, gravel and some dirt trails and that versatility is exactly why I bought a fat-tire model. The 20×4 tires feel extremely planted and the front suspension helps when things get rough. I don't feel like I have to plan my route around perfect pavement anymore.

Plenty fast for me
I wasn't interested in buying an e-bike that felt underpowered after the first week. No problem here. The 1500W peak setup has plenty of punch for the type of riding I do, and being able to use the gears along with the electric power makes it easy to adapt to different rides.

The range gives me peace of mind
I usually don't come anywhere close to using the full advertised range, and that's actually what I wanted. I'd rather finish a long ride with battery left than spend the entire ride wondering whether I'm going to make it home. That's one of the main reasons I chose the MEGAWHEELS.

Looks even better in person
I originally bought it because of the specs but I love the way this bike looks. The black frame with the big tires gives it a much tougher appearance than a normal commuter e-bike. More importantly, it rides the way it looks—solid, stable and powerful.

The removable battery is a huge plus
This was one of the main reasons I picked the MEGAWHEELS. I don't have a convenient outlet where I park the bike, so being able to remove the 48V battery and charge it separately makes ownership much easier. Add the fat tires and strong electric assist and it's a really practical setup.
★★★★★
Perfect balance of power and everyday usability
I didn't need an extreme electric dirt bike, but I also didn't want a weak little commuter. The MEGAWHEELS feels like the sweet spot. Enough power to make riding genuinely fun, 20×4 tires for rougher surfaces and a size that still works well for riding around town.
★★★★★
Finally an e-bike that doesn't care if the pavement ends
That's my favorite thing about it. I can start out riding around the neighborhood and then turn onto a gravel or dirt section without feeling like I'm on the wrong bike. The fat tires give it a noticeably planted feel and the front suspension helps take the edge off rough surfaces.
★★★★★
Way more fun than I expected
I originally justified buying this as transportation. Let's be real, I mostly ride it because it's fun. The electric assist makes longer rides easy, and there's enough power available that I don't dread hills or getting back home after going farther than planned.
★★★★★
The 20×4 tires sold me
I've owned normal bicycles forever but this is my first fat-tire bike. Huge difference in stability. It feels much more planted over gravel, cracked pavement and rough sections. I understand now why so many e-bikes use this tire size.
★★★★★
Exactly what I wanted for exploring
I didn't want a bike limited to perfect bike paths. With the MEGAWHEELS I can ride pavement, packed dirt and rougher paths without constantly worrying about the surface. It's become my go-to way to get outside when I have an hour or two free.
★★★★★
Plenty of power without feeling ridiculous
1500W peak power sounded like a good middle ground when I was shopping and I'm happy with that decision. It feels quick and responsive when I ask for assistance, but the bike is still completely usable for normal cruising. Great combination for the way I ride.
★★★★★
Battery comes inside, bike stays in the garage
That sounds like a little thing until you actually own an e-bike. I really didn't want to run an extension cord every time I needed to charge. Pop the battery out, bring it inside, charge it and put it back. Simple. This feature alone makes the MEGAWHEELS much more convenient for me.
★★★★★
My first e-bike and now I understand the hype
I thought electric bikes were basically for people who didn't want to pedal. I was completely wrong. I still pedal all the time, but the motor lets me choose how hard I want each ride to be. That means I'm going farther and riding much more often than I did before.
★★★★★
Really good all-around e-bike
I wanted one bike rather than having a commuter plus something for trails. This does a little bit of everything. Fat tires, front suspension, 7 speeds, removable battery and enough electric power to keep things interesting. It's a very versatile package.
★★★★★
Upgraded from a smaller commuter and what a difference
My previous e-bike had skinny tires and was fine on smooth pavement but pretty unpleasant anywhere else. The MEGAWHEELS is much more my style. The big tires give it a sturdy feeling and I don't have to turn around every time the road gets rough.
★★★★★
I use it more than I thought I would
Bought it expecting one or two weekend rides a month. Now I'm riding several times a week. Coffee runs, errands, evening rides, exploring trails—it works for all of it. That's probably the best compliment I can give it.
★★★★☆
Solid bike, definitely heavier than a regular bicycle
Don't expect something that weighs the same as your old mountain bike. The motor, battery and fat tires add weight. Once you're riding, though, that substantial feel is actually something I like. It feels planted and stable and the electric assist obviously makes the extra weight much less noticeable.
★★★★★
The listed range was a big factor for me
I know real-world range changes depending on weight, hills, assist level, temperature and how you ride. I wasn't shopping based on hitting an exact number. I just wanted enough battery capacity that ordinary rides wouldn't constantly have me thinking about charging. So far that was the right approach.
★★★★★
Looks tough without being enormous
Some fat-tire e-bikes looked almost too large for what I wanted. The 20-inch platform is a really nice compromise. You still get the aggressive fat-tire appearance and stability, but the bike itself feels reasonably compact.
★★★★★
Great for rough neighborhood roads
Our streets are full of cracks and patched asphalt, and my normal bike transmitted every bit of it. Between the 4-inch-wide tires and front suspension, this is considerably more comfortable. That's actually become one of my favorite parts of the bike.
★★★★★
This has basically become my second vehicle
Not literally replacing my car, but anything reasonably close now has me asking, “Do I really need to drive?” Half the time the answer is no. I get outside, parking isn't an issue and the ride itself becomes part of the fun.
★★★★★
More capable than a basic city e-bike
I wanted something I could commute with but didn't want to be limited to sidewalks and smooth bike paths. That's why the fat tires and suspension appealed to me. The MEGAWHEELS is still easy to ride around town, but it gives me a lot more freedom when conditions aren't perfect.
★★★★★
The brakes and fat tires give me confidence
I like the overall planted feeling of this bike. The wide tires are noticeably different from a normal bicycle and having disc brakes front and rear was something I specifically looked for when shopping. It feels like a bike designed around the extra speed and weight of an electric setup.
★★★★★
Long rides are actually enjoyable now
Before getting an e-bike, every long ride had that moment where I'd think, “Great, now I still have to ride all the way back.” Electric assistance completely changes that. I can go explore without worrying nearly as much about whether I have enough energy for the return trip.
★★★★☆
Took a few rides to dial everything in
My first ride I was mostly learning the controls and getting used to the size of the tires. After a couple rides everything clicked. I like the bike more every time I use it. The removable battery and fat-tire setup were definitely the right choice for me.
★★★★★
A lot of e-bike for the money
I compared quite a few bikes before ordering and kept coming back to this combination of features. 1500W peak power, removable battery, 20×4 fat tires, suspension and a 7-speed drivetrain covered basically everything on my checklist without forcing me into one of the really expensive models.
★★★★★
The removable battery makes charging painless
Didn't appreciate this feature enough until I started using it. Instead of rearranging my garage around an outlet, I just bring the battery inside. If you're storing your bike somewhere without easy power access, that's a bigger benefit than it sounds like on a product page.
★★★★★
Stable and comfortable on mixed surfaces
My routes usually have a little bit of everything—smooth pavement, bad pavement, gravel and packed dirt. That's where this bike makes sense. I don't need to think too hard about which route I'm taking because the tires and suspension handle the transitions well.
★★★★★
I almost bought a skinny-tire commuter. Glad I didn't.
Nothing against commuter bikes, but I know myself. Eventually I would have wanted to take it somewhere rougher and regretted the narrow tires. Going with the fat-tire setup from the beginning was absolutely the right move for me.
★★★★★
Fun enough that exercise doesn't feel like exercise
I probably ride three times as often now. Sometimes I use a lot of pedal assist, sometimes I turn it down and make myself work. Either way I'm outside moving instead of sitting around. That's been an unexpected benefit of buying it.
★★★★★
Just a really useful bike
I know that's not the most exciting review title, but it's true. Want to cruise? Works. Errand? Works. Dirt road? Works. Longer ride? Works. Remove the battery and charge it inside? Works. That's what I wanted—one bike I could use in a bunch of different situations.
★★★★☆
Not lightweight, but very stable
The bike has some heft to it, especially compared with a traditional bicycle. That's the tradeoff for a motor, battery and huge tires. Once I'm actually riding, I prefer the stable feel. If you don't need to carry it upstairs every day, I don't see the weight as much of an issue.
★★★★★
One of those purchases you actually keep using
I've bought plenty of hobby stuff that was exciting for two weeks and then collected dust. This has been the opposite. The more routes I discover, the more I want to ride it. Being able to go farther without wearing myself out makes a huge difference.
★★★★★
If you want one fat-tire e-bike to do a little of everything, this is it
That's how I'd summarize the MEGAWHEELS. Strong electric assistance, a removable battery, wide 20×4 tires, front suspension and enough gearing to still ride it like a bicycle. It's comfortable around town but doesn't feel out of place when the pavement gets rough. I'm very happy I chose this setup.
